About the Author
DR. HENRY M. MORRIS (1918-2006) (B.S. Rice University; M.S., Ph.D. University of Minnesota) is widely recognized as the founder of the modern creation science movement. For many years he was the president of the Institute for Creation Research, San Diego, California. Dr. Morris wrote extensively on creation science and evolution, producing definitive works such as Some Call It Science, Biblical Creationism, Science and the Bible Scientific Creationism, and The Biblical Basis for Modern Science. In 1963, Dr. Morris and nine other creationists founded the Creation Research Society. At the age of 87 and after a full life devoted to the defense of the gospel, Dr. Morris entered into the joy of the Lord in 2006.

Morris believes that the Bible can be scientifically proven. This is impossible, since the Bible is a religious text. It is an interesting read, but keep in mind that Morris uses bad science and fallacy after fallacy to make his religion look scientific.

About the Author

Dr Sahnaz Tigrek is Assistant Professor at the Hydromechanics Laboratory of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. She has received her MSc from the same institute and was awarded her Phd degree for her work in Civil Engineering at the Coastal Engineering Laboratory of Tokyo University, Japan. She worked previously as an engineer in the Ocean and River Engineering Consulting Company in Japan. Her research interests are Computational Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Modeling of Turbulent Flow, Boundary Layer Flow, Flow Measurements in Open Channels, Sedimentation, Reservoir Sustainability in Water Resources Projects, Design of Diffusers.

Tuce Aras is currently working at EKON Industry Construction & Trade Inc. as a proposal engineer. She received her MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, where studied reservoir sediment management with Dr. Sahnaz Tigrek.

Just let go

This book is very annoying because she can not choose between a ex boyfriend Jerome and William (white man). She has made a decision to not get serious with William but she always thinking about him. I don't like how that both her and her ex can not remember why they broke up. Not enough history about her previous relationship with Jerome. I think that the books should be put together into one book. Each book is a tease to the next.

I liked this sequel but Alexa seems to be settling. She's afraid to date a white guy because of her family so she starts to date an old flame who is black. She is a strong woman but she is letting someone else dictate her love life. Jerome seems like a nice guy but they broke up for a reason and I hope Alexandra figures out what she really wants before it's too late. Can't wait for the conclusion.

Without giving away too much, this book is pretty straight forward and predictable. Like Love Reserved, this book does not show a lot of character development. I find myself knowing more about Alexa's sex life than actually knowing anything about her or the other characters. Hopefully book 3 will deliver more content, and not just focus on the lust and sex.

an interesting tale of the Irish immigration viewed by one individual, and a bit of experience regarding the mining in the Klondike Gold Rush. This book does not present the romantic adventure aspect of Gold Rush times so common in other 'historical' sources.

This book is an English language translation of "Rotha Mór an tSaoil" an Irish language book about the life of a young man from Donegal Ireland who came to America to earn his fortune. I found the book a fascinating story of the hard work and adventures of a young immigrant in the late 19th century. He worked in the steel mills in Bethlehem Pa, the copper mines in Montana and panned for gold in the Yukon before returning to Ireland to marry and raise a family.
