What awaits this motley assemblage of characters in INTERCESSION! is an exploration of what it means to have hope and faith in a place that appears to be broken beyond repair.

A journey into the heart of Appalachia

Flinchum is a master of capturing the idiosyncrasies that go undetected by most of us. This book is full of quirky, but brilliant characters set against a backdrop of a laregly forgotten Appalachian culture. In a mad scramble for dominion, several fringe visionaries war over their right to become king of the mountain. Interesting read.
